Courses for Undergraduate and Graduate Credit:
A selection of undergraduate for-credit courses are available throughout the school year. For a listing of online for-credit courses available to Rice students, please visit our courses page.

Visiting Owls:
By applying to be a Visiting Owl, non-Rice students can take Rice courses for credit in the Summer Semester. Visiting high school students are permitted to apply for and register for online courses for credit during Rice’s Summer Semester upon approval of their application and course request(s). Visit the Visiting Owls site for more information, and browse available courses in the summer course catalog.

Non-Credit Courses for Professional Development and Lifelong Learning:
For a complete list of online courses available, please visit our courses page. Many of our courses are part of a multi-course specialization, culminating in a capstone project or experience. If you are a current Rice student interested in taking a non-credit course, visit our Coursera for Rice page to learn how you can access these course for free.
