DESCRIPTION
Human Anatomy & Physiology II: Fluids, Transport, and Defense (Course 1)
Join us on a fascinating exploration of the human body's inner workings in the first course of Human Anatomy & Physiology II specialization. This course takes a systematic approach, covering organs, organ systems, and the entire organism. We'll dive deep into the intricacies of the cardiovascular and lymphatic/immune systems, uncovering their structure and function, and how they influence human development and health. It's a journey of discovery you won't want to miss!
Who should attend:
- High school students who want to experience a university-level course
- Pre-medical and pre-nursing students wanting supplemental material on medical terminology and prepping for entry exams
- Anyone with an interest in human anatomy and physiology
You will be able to:
- Identify the major parts of the cardiovascular and lymphatic/immune systems
- Describe normal human anatomy structure and function for the cardiovascular and lymphatic/immune systems
- Relate anatomical structure and function at the cellular, tissue, organ, and body system levels to clinical diagnoses and dysfunction of the cardiovascular and lymphatic/immune systems
